Far East Cable Co., Ltd., led by the innovation system of “one institute, two stations, three departments, four centers, and five fields”, strives to build its strategic and scientific strength, continuously strengthen its foundational cutting-edge research and original innovation capabilities, accelerate key general technical breakthroughs to move upwards the value chain, and implement in-depth transformation of technological achievements to fully promote technological innovation. Up to now, it has won more than 20 national, provincial and ministry-level scientific and technological awards, developed 62 new world-leading products, 38 internationally advanced products, 30 nation-leading products, and 28 nationally advanced products, obtained 379 patents for products, of which 56 are invention patents, presided or participated in the drafting of 48 standards at respectively the national, industrial, confederate and associational levels (with 15 other standards currently under development), and acquired 13 unique technologies in the wire and cable industry. In the past three years, the sales revenue of new products has totaled 23.2 billion RMB, which brought huge economic benefits to the company. At the same time, the company has also provided social value in promoting industry progress, protecting ecological resources, ensuring national security, and improving people's living standards.
